Digital Campaign Assistant Intern - My Leader Kenya

My Leader Kenya is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic campaign assistant intern to support the management and growth of the My Leader Kenya platform in preparation for the 2027 General Elections. The intern will play a key role in maintaining candidate information, publishing election-related content, promoting campaign tools, and coordinating podcast engagements with political aspirants.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the My Leader Kenya platform.
- Create, update, and maintain profiles of 2027 election candidates.
- Research, upload, and publish articles, news, and updates relating to 2027 political aspirants.
- Promote and popularize the My Leader Kenya campaign and election tools to politicians and political stakeholders.
- Coordinate, organize, and schedule podcast shows featuring 2027 election candidates.
- Ensure that information published on the platform is accurate, timely, and well presented.
- Support other campaign and platform engagement activities as assigned.

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Communications, Journalism, Political Science, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
- Interest in Kenyan politics, governance, and the electoral process.
- Basic knowledge of content management systems and social media platforms is an added advantage.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
