Web Developer Intern

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Web Developer Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in WordPress website development. The successful candidate will support the web development team in building, maintaining, and optimizing websites while learning industry best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities
Assist in WordPress website development and customization projects.
Support website content uploads, updates, and maintenance.
Perform website testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
Learn and apply WordPress development standards and best practices.
Assist in website performance optimization and user experience improvements.
Support plugin installation, configuration, and updates.
Assist in preparing project documentation and progress reports.
Collaborate with designers, developers, and project teams on assigned tasks.

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of WordPress CMS.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
Understanding of website design principles and responsive design.
Willingness to learn web development tools and technologies.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Added Advantage
Experience working on personal, academic, or freelance WordPress projects.
Basic knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
Knowledge of SEO fundamentals.
